Over the past several years, hybrid technology has advanced the way in which humans travel. With the
number of hybrid vehicle models rising steadily on land, it is only a matter of time until the overspill of
technology influences travel at sea. Inevitably, Hurtigruten, the world's leader in exploration travel since 1893,
revealed its plan to release the first of two hybrid ships to its fleet in the spring of 2019.
