For the first time in my 38 years, I brought in the New Year outside of the U.S. New Years Eve was celebrated in Sweden and the first day of 2019 was spent in e Netherlands. Being a part of the celebration in such a different culture is nothing like watching it in a movie or reading of it in a book. Although much of what I've seen remains the same like the traditional midnight toast, hugs and kisses from loved ones, and a firework display in the town center, there's still a world of a difference from being back home in the States. Needless to say it was a beautiful experience and should I be given the opportunity, I would love to see how the rest of the world welcomes the New Years ahead. As we move into 2019, the VUE team and I strive to remain New Jersey's leader in luxury print media and publish original content that you can continue to enjoy. In this issue we had the opportunity to work with Ben Tibbetts, an astounding adventurer, climber, and photographer whose work is truly remarkable. We're also sharing some of our favorite fashion brands for the winter and a few breathtaking destinations whether you choose to embrace the cold, or need to get away somewhere a bit warmer.
