Beauty companies are tapping into the latest and greatest tech that's sure to revolutionize our everyday routines. e idea isn't about cutting corners, but rather about being smart. ese devices push the boundaries of what we're able to accomplish within the comfort of our homes—whether it be the ability to cleanse our skin with dermatological precision or indulge in professional, spa-like treatments. For celebrity esthetician Melanie Simon, her facials grew to be in such high demand over the course of 15 years that she developed her own handheld electrical skincare device to be used by clients outside of their appointments. If you thought that microcurrent facials were best le in the hands of professionals, the ZIIP was created by the help of a skincare expert alongside a team of engineers, researchers and medical doctors to ensure safety at-home. Although the fact that ZIIP produces and sends out electricity can be an intimidating tidbit, bear in mind that low levels of electrical nano-currents have been scientifically proven to heal tissue, accelerate wound healing, decrease acne, increase circulation and stimulate the production of collagen. ZIIP comes with seven different Electrical Cocktail options—ranging from tightening and brightening to anti- aging and a men's formula—that are accompanied by Simon's step-by-step videos available through their app and a Golden Conductive Gel serum made from concentrations of bio placenta, growth hormones, hematite and gold. There have been too many technological advancements in recent years to count. From self-driving cars to 3D printers and robots, these innovations are single-handedly changing the world. That's not to say there aren't smaller, equally as noteworthy devices being built to better our own daily lives. Take a super-speedy hairdryer, for example, or a mirror that can analyze your skin, tell you the weather forecast and stream exercise videos. BY ABBY MONTANEZ V U E N J . C O M 56
