Ancient beauty meets old world architecture in Berta's "Athens" collection.
e city's picturesque backdrop served as the framework for their Fall 2019
campaign, the dresses of which had a distinct Mediterranean aesthetic.
Luxurious fabrics and handcraed embellishments were met with structured
and shapely silhouettes, calling for the kind of bride who wants to embrace
her more artistic side. So layers of tulle and silk chiffon contrasted delicate
illusion lace detailing that gave a vintage twist to more modern looks—think
glittery over skirts, matching capes, off-the-shoulder sleeves and sheer
panels. What Berta is best known for is their couture take on tradition and
these dresses will help women break the bridal mold.
