e project was not without its challenges. e first step was to
move the historic building that housed Odette's. Getting permits
and meeting requirements to build on historic property that has
flooded multiple times also presented roadblocks. It was a long
and expensive process that began in December 2018 and will
wrap up this summer.
Gorodesky's enthusiasm for this project is evident when asked
what he believes his guests will take away from an experience
at the River House. "We focus on the experience; on how you
feel about yourself when you walk through our spaces. If upon
arrival, you feel safe, the surroundings are inspiring, and the
company is friendly, we've achieved our goal. Creating that
feeling of being entirely at ease in a new environment - it's an
art. It's what makes people want to return, time & time again. Its
what we do. We deliver on the promise our guests feel from the
moment they arrive throughout the complete guest journey."
