Regardless of the theme of the NYE party or whether it will be a dinner party, a cocktail party, or a desserts only affair (Tutera is a big fan of sweets parties!), Tutera urges us to make this NYE a really big deal. It has been so long since people have had a chance to dress up and socialize with friends, and Tutera wants us to be mindful of this in our planning: "I love to do things that are super elegant and sparkly and over-the-top, and there's no better moment than this NYE to create an environment that is a big deal." Tutera suggests setting a tone of elegance right from the start by sending out paper invitations instead of electronic ones.
