Baked Apples
with Cinnamon &
Walnut Crumble

For The Apples
2 apples, cut in half
lengthwise and cored
1 tbsp. Brown Sugar
1⁄4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
For the Walnut Cr umble
1 stick of butter
3⁄4 cup all purpose flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
1⁄2 cup brown sugar
1⁄4 tsp. cinnamon
1⁄8 tsp. salt
1. Heat oven to 375
degrees. Remove very
thin slice of apple from
the bottoms and place in a
baking dish, so it does not
roll or tip. Sprinkle apples
with cinnamon, sugar and
salt. Set aside.
2. In a small saucepan,
melt butter, walnuts,
flour, brown sugar and
cinnamon. Stir to combine.
3. Top apples with walnut
mixture and bake for 40
minutes until soft and
the topping has browned
slightly. Serve warm with
vanilla ice cream.
