T his one is personal. They all are. Every issue of VUE is a reflection of our passions and inspiration. It's almost as if a piece of our DNA is watermarked on each page. Yet, this one feels different and is without question our most personal issue to date. For the first time ever, we take you inside our new office, designed and inspired with the help of the Red Bank Design Center. For years, we were based in Hoboken and we are now very excited to stretch our wings and expand into Monmouth County. We signed our lease in February 2020, just a few weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic. Needless to say, our timeline was thrown off just a bit. Our cover feature will take you inside The Waterfront Farmhouse - an incredible, custom-built waterfront home at the Jersey Shore. Built and designed from the ground up, this spectacular property is home to our Publisher Jason Underberg and his growing family. Of course, there is only so much we can share as we want to spare you the agony of walking around with a ten-pound magazine. You won't read about the myriad of delays and incredibly difficult journey in building their home. You may not know that after they sold their previous home, they found themselves "homeless" for quite some time. Yet, that is exactly what transpired due to Covid related delays, extreme weather issues, and many other factors that were completely out of their control. They spent months living in an RV along with a newborn baby and two dogs. For the first time ever, we take you inside the most personal spaces of our lives - home and office. Of course, with this being our Home & Design issue we celebrate the top real estate, architecture, and art that we have uncovered. We take a deep dive into Centrada, what's said to be the hottest new restaurant opening in Red Bank later this Spring. In collaboration with Neiman Marcus, we showcase some of our favorite and latest fashion trends this Spring. Very soon we'll be shedding our layers and trading our winter coats for lighter wear. Also, we take you inside our recent visit to the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World. Spoiler alert - we're already looking at dates for our next visit! Our focus is intended to take you on the inside, beyond the wood and the bricks, to understand the story and inspiration behind each feature. If the home is where the heart is, we're sharing what makes it beat! We truly hope you enjoy this issue, and a very special thank you to everyone who contributed and helped bring this together. I wish you a very happy and bright Spring! A Note From the Co-Founder Brian Kovener Co-Founder Brian@vuenj.com V U E N J .C O M 26
