bar. Scalloped wood with antique mirrors behind the bar help to reflect some of the ambient light and create warmth in the space. Centrada C.O.O. Anthony Fiorentino, who also operates Catch 19, wanted his restaurant to have a bit of nightlife energy. Fiorentino was a driving force in bringing these design teams together in order to create his vision in Red Bank. When night falls, the vibrant colors reflect off the mirror creating a lively atmosphere. The second floor, home to more dining and a more private bar, is a bit more colorful and contrasting than the first and brings a touch of tropical nightlife into the restaurant. This space is highlighted by an emerald bar with smoky glass shade lighting, colorful custom wall and ceiling murals, and printed art that lines the walls. The large custom graphic ceiling created by Celano in the second main dining area brings a wow moment to the two story main dining space. The hand baked glaze tiles give off a 3D geometric feel, and there is also rope detail draped along the ceiling and down the wall, and a mix of hanging baskets that create interest. Pops of color are thrown in through the use of pillows and other features. The third floor is the private dining hall with an extended view that looks out on the water and the happenings on the lower level. This personal room is filled with decorative custom lighting, ceiling artwork, and a large communal family table with comfortable orange oversized chairs. This room was purposely created to be more lush and upscale than the rest of the restaurant, with a comfortable residential feel. It's plush, comfortable, and vibrant. The private dining area is also filled with hanging chairs and a neon "te amo" sign, perfect for an Instagram photo op. The restrooms offer a colorful, beach side chic aura filled with custom wallpaper, black and white photography, and scalloped tile. There's a clear transition from vibrancy and color when you enter the restroom from the main space. The cohesiveness of the design, experience, and food of Centrada was all high concept in terms of naming, branding, and design to create an approachable, fine dining experience. Opening by summer 2022, the vibe of Centrada can only be described so much. The full experience can only come from a visit. V U E N J .C O M 114
