Recently opened in Lakewood, NJ, the Trü Birth Center designed by Mannarino Designs gives mothers-to-be a luxurious and tranquil environment to deliver their babies safely. Anna Maria Mannarino drew upon her expertise in hospitality interior design to manifest Dr. Surowitz's vision of a facility that provides the same medical necessities as a hospital with the feel of a spa. A calming color palette, organic shapes, and easily sterilizable materials promote peace of mind for Trü's guests from the moment they walk in the door. The spaces in Trü Birth Center are adapted to conceal any medical equipment while maintaining ease of access. Trü features 2 birthing rooms, a swing room which can be utilized for sleeping or treatments, and a family room to keep visiting fathers and children comfortable. The birthing rooms each include a large organic shaped tub that appears to rest on a blanket of peonies, an electric wall fireplace and large luxe bed with a tufted, satin-like headboard. Anna Maria Mannarino has won 21 awards in all different categories of design.
