SHOES TO BRING
To insure that your pieces are
easily styled, choose patterns
that compliment the color
palette of all your solids
and neutrals. e bolder the
pattern, the more it will pop,
so adding layers and other
neutrals will help switch up the
look.
Ideally, pack one outfit per day of the trip.
You can afford to wear pants or skirts
more than once during the vacation, but
pack one shirt for every day plus one or
two for more options.
e rules of dressing have changed in a post-
pandemic society where comfort has become
the priority, so bring comfortable shoes that are
practical but also feel stylish and put together to
prevent the off-season touristy look. I recommend
a pair of non-athletic shoes for sightseeing and
touring. For women, I recommend bringing a
cashmere travel wrap because it is a versatile piece
that doubles as a scarf for cooler climates while
adding a touch of elegance to the look.
Ideally, pack only two pairs, three maximum:
a sneaker for traveling, a flat for dressing up
or down, and a heel for evenings or dressier
events. For men, add sneakers, and sandals
for the beach, and sneakers and boots for
colder weather.
