Dipping her toes into the world of ballet, Martin collaborated with the Boston Ballet to create her first choreographic
work, Kites. Martin recalled the incredible feeling of the faith held in her as someone from outside of the dance
world saying, "To be able to do that and know I had the trust and the directive edge to embark on something like
that was such an amazing opportunity and experience."
Ultimately, never putting herself in a box, Martin is keen on exploring anything that she is interested in.
"I'm an artist that draws, but what if I create a ballet?" Martin questioned, "Would it feel like me?"
