1. Slice challah bread loaf into 1 ½ - 2 inch thick slices. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together 6 eggs, milk, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla sauce, and caramel sauce. 3. Dip each slice into the mixture and submerge to ensure that the bread absorbs the batter. Let each slice soak for about 1 minute. Be careful not to over soak or the bread will become mushy. 4. Melt the unsalted butter in a skillet set at medium heat. Once the butter is melted, grill each slice of the challah bread. Once one side starts browning and getting crispy, flip and cook the other side. It should take about 3-4 minutes per side. 5. While your French toast is crisping up, prepare your Taylor ham (aka pork roll) by browning in a medium skillet, flipping on both sides until lightly browned and toasted around the edges. Place the Taylor ham (aka pork roll) on a paper towel to absorb any excess fat. 6. In the same skillet on medium heat, crack in your remaining 8 eggs. Let the eggs cook until the edges are crisp and golden and the yolk is cooked to your liking. It takes about 2 minutes for runny yolks and 3 minutes for over medium eggs. 7. Once the French toast has been thoroughly cooked, plate one layer of French toast and top with the browned Taylor ham (aka pork roll), followed by the American cheese and fried eggs. en, top with the next layer of French toast. 8. Finally, crown the French toast with a good dusting of powdered sugar. Maple syrup can also round out this dish, but it is optional to taste! 9. And the most important step, ENJOY! Taylor ham (aka pork roll), two fried eggs, and gooey American cheese sandwiched between fresh baked challah bread, then double dipped in our caramel vanilla infused milk and egg batter stuffed. Serves 4 people.
