No matter what shape is chosen, Ashley says that a
growing trend is to buy two bespoke greenhouses to
attach together, a trend oen started through necessity.
She explains, "people buy one thinking it will be enough
space for their needs, but then once they start putting
in the plants and setting aside some space for a chair
and table, they realize they need more room." She says
they recently installed five bespoke greenhouses for
one homeowner in New Mexico, and have attached
two for clients in California, Oregon, and Wyoming.
"In California, we installed two of the same modern
structures that were larger than our standard size. It
was the largest piece of roof glass we've ever installed,"
she says. But that doesn't mean they always go large. A
recent project was done on an outdoor terrace that sat
between two second-level rooms of a home. e space
was enclosed with a glass roof and side to create a small
greenhouse that is now just part of the house.
