Whether it's an article of clothing from their closet, a beautiful plate, or a cherished piece of furniture, Holly uses her clients' treasured item as a starting point to envision the interior design of the space she will be working on. But what Holly does add to every project she takes on is a warm, inviting feeling. "Nothing is like a glass house that I touch," she expresses. "It could be a modern style home, very industrial, but no matter what, it's always going to be a space that is warm and inviting and cozy." Holly achieves this warm and cozy aesthetic through a variety of design methods. With the use of tone-on-tone fabric patterns, simple geometrics, loose florals that are more fluid, and "a piece of velvet in somewhere," Holly is able to imbue an inviting feeling to any space. She shares that palettes such as taupes, tans, and whites, "with a splash of color" that is so and subdued, can help achieve a calming feel. Of course, she adds, "You can never go wrong with a tad bit of black." HV Design Group handles large and small projects, from simple to sophisticated.
