To celebrate this collaboration, Siriano's models wore the newly designed bathrobes backstage at the New York Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2023 show. e bathrobes and hand towels designed for the collaboration have been artistically styled with luxurious golden trim and unique geometric debossed fabric detailing. e elements of these designs honor the aura of 1920s Art Deco design and beyond being bathroom staples, also stand out as independent pieces of art. Siriano was first introduced to DXV when renovating a bathroom in his 279-year-old Easton, Connecticut home and incorporated the Belshire Collection into his own space. He was inspired by the beautiful crasmanship of the collection as well as the meticulous design that already existed within his historic home. With his own intuition, as well as being approached by DXV, Siriano used his own skills to create a limited-edition bathrobe and hand towel set that would also represent these designs. "It has been such a pleasure partnering with DXV, which emphasizes the many parallels that can be drawn between fashion and home design as vehicles for self-expression," said Christian Siriano. "Personalizing clothing and accessories empowers people to reveal their authentic selves, which we see play out when people curate their living spaces. As I was designing my own space in Easton, DXV's timeless Belshire bathroom collection inspired me to explore the boundaries of home and fashion to create luxurious, wearable art." Being built in the 18th century, Siriano was seeking renovations for his home and had a luxurious refresh done in 2022. He had inspiration for a spa- like retreat for his primary bathroom, which was satisfied with DXV's Belshire Collection products such as its Shower System and Low-Spout Faucet with Cross Handles. ese elegant pieces were carefully designed aer the Art Deco movement of the 1920s with faceted edges and the boldness they bring into a space. Not only are DXV's pieces incredibly pleasing to the eye, but their quality is unmatched, engineered with the utmost intention of long-term use and excellent performance. DXV provides only the best luxury bath and kitchen products that take their own spin on influential design movements of the past 150 years, while also paying homage to original works of art. ey have a specific focus on the Classic, Golden, and Modern Eras, with this specific collection having the intention of providing a portal back into a glamorous 1920s home. "It has been such a pleasure partnering with DXV, which emphasizes the many parallels that can be drawn between fashion and home design as vehicles for self-expression," - Christian Siriano VUE ON | DESIGN 60 VUENJ.COM
