Now, the place to see and be seen has received a full redesign, spearheaded by Kemble Interiors. As part of "e Pink Paradise" hotel's makeover, the entire exterior was given a bright, new faceli in "Colony Pink," a custom-formulated color by Farrow & Ball. Inside the hotel, the updated interiors reflect the stylish, whimsical atmosphere of Palm Beach while providing all of the sumptuous luxury that comes standard with a stay at e Colony Hotel. Considered e Colony's owner Sarah Wetenhall's "personal love letter to Palm Beach," hand painted, custom–designed de Gournay mural wallpaper lines the lobby and greets guests as they enter. e breathtaking images depict animals and plants native to the area, as well as providing many playful nods to the monkey Johnnie Brown, a notable 1920's Palm Beach resident and the hotel's current mascot. Aer entering the elevators, guests will find themselves walking into a new experience with each floor they stop on. An extension of the Living Room wallpaper in the lobby, every landing is dressed in a different custom de Gournay wallpaper that envelops visitors in iconic scenes of Palm Beach from the past and present. Guest rooms at e Colony have been completely renovated and feature an exclusive capsule collection by Society Social. e furniture, designed by Sarah Wetenhall and Society Social's Roxy Owens, was exclusive for e Colony Hotel's redesign. Rattan and faux bamboo pieces fill the rooms, invoking an era of Palm Beach past. e Bloom guest room, Pink Deco guest room, Cabana guest room, and the Blue Suite all offer completely distinct accommodations with their own designs, color schemes, and art. Custom fabrics in pinks, greens, and blues, created exclusively for the hotel by design powerhouse Schumacher, add a touch of Palm Beach to every room. Guest room walls have been refreshed with Farrow & Ball paint in the brand's signature color palette, dressed in custom-designed wallpaper by Schumacher, and are adorned with specially made commissions by North Carolina-based artist Sarah Boyts Yoder and art by local photographers. An exciting detail for those looking to imbue a little tropical luxury into their own homes is the ability to shop the new guest room interiors via e Colony and their partners' websites. e 11-piece capsule furniture collection by Society Social, as well as the other decor elements in each guest room, are all available for purchase. Now, any guest can imbue a little piece of Palm Beach into their own homes. The glittering shores of Palm Beach, Florida are well known for their opulence, sunset views, and rich history. Arguably one of the most notable locations along this tropical shoreline is The Colony Hotel, a historic Palm Beach landmark since it opened its doors in 1947. Its iconic pink exterior has stood out brightly since 2014, beckoning locals and vacationers alike to the boutique hotel's lobby, affectionately known as "Palm Beach's living room."
