Amnio Injections for Injured Tissue
Amnio injections involve injecting a
solution derived from amniotic fluid
into the injured tissue. e amniotic
fluid contains a variety of growth factors,
cytokines, and other regenerative
components that can stimulate tissue
repair. Amnio injections have been used
to treat a variety of musculoskeletal
conditions, including arthritis, tendonitis,
and ligament injuries. e treatment is
minimally invasive and has a low risk of
complications. Similar to PRP, amnio
injections have been shown to reduce
pain, improve function, and promote
tissue regeneration.
Tenex for Chronic Tendon Pain
Tenex is a minimally invasive procedure
that utilizes ultrasound to guide a small
instrument to the site of the damaged
tendon. e instrument uses high
frequency vibrations to break up and
remove damaged tissue from the tendon,
which stimulates the body's natural
healing process.
Tenex has been used to treat a variety of
chronic tendon conditions, including
calcific tendinitis and tendinosis. e
treatment is done in a surgery center, but
takes only a few minutes and requires very
little downtime.
