Sure enough, "Art in Public" grabbed the public's attention
and Kaláb was invited to his first gallery showing.
When discussing his artistic process, Kaláb details that
he "keeps on doing it until it changes by itself. If you are
sincere, you cannot do it by force. e inspiration has to
come by itself." His keen ability and unique eye lends
itself to every piece he creates. Any bystander of Kaláb's
artwork, be it a painting, sculpture, or wall of graffiti,
will find themselves transported to another realm, an
ethereal, liminal space in which the borders of creation
and possibility seem limitless.
As Jan Kaláb continues to garner international attention
at galleries in locations such as New York, London,
Miami, Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, and more, he remains
true to his vision and journey as an artist. "I am here
