The circle is the one shape that transcends time and space. Nearly every culture reveres it as a sacred symbol, representing limitless possibilities and outcomes. Its unbroken curve reminds us that our stories, narratives, and experiences are interconnected. e circle also serves as the basis for most of the creations by Jan Kaláb, our cover feature for this issue. Born and raised in Prague, Czech Republic, Jan Kaláb is one of today's most notable contemporary artists. e starting point for all of Jan's work is the circle, the base shape that he builds everything out of. Jan is a founding pioneer of the Prague underground graffiti scene, spending many sleepless nights in train yards and perhaps a few in local police stations. Our interview with Jan was genuinely fascinating; we could have spent hours upon hours hearing his story and overall philosophy on art. His work speaks for itself and as you turn these pages, I hope you are as taken by his artistic process as we are. is Fall Issue is stocked with similarly intriguing and entertaining content. In fact, my editor is asking for me to trim my word count here. Always a challenge, but I will try my best.
