VUE: Since we're obviously a NJ magazine, we're going to start with the most obvious. Favorite spots or hidden gems in NJ? GaryVee: at's a great question. I want to actually give this some real thought. e White Diamond Restaurant in Clark, NJ. It's like the original White Castle. Basilico's Restaurant in Millburn, NJ. It's down the street from Wine Library, just a quintessential Italian spot in Millburn. In Clinton, NJ, there is a water mill, like an 1897 red building, I just like it. It's really cool, it makes me think about Jersey, like it's the Jersey I wish people knew a little bit, like a small Virginia town kind of feel. Man, I have a lot of answers to this question. Englishtown Flea Market, I'm obsessed with that. VUE: Coffee or tea? GaryVee: You know what's funny? I like tea more; I consume more coffee. VUE: Morning person or night owl? GaryVee: Night owl. VUE: You got a favorite movie? GaryVee: All time? You know what, I bounce around about this. "Rocky IV" excites me, "Spaceballs" I think is way up there for me, "Forrest Gump" is something I really like. VUE: Go-to comfort food? GaryVee: Sunflowers seeds. VUE: Dream dinner guest. If you could have any person or two people, dead or alive, who's it gonna be to have dinner with? GaryVee: Definitely both my grandfathers. I didn't know them. My dad's dad died when he was 15 and my mom's dad died when I was 4 and we le Russia when I was like 3 and he died back in the Soviet Union. I don't remember him. I see pictures of me and him together, but that would disproportionately be number one, to have dinner with my grandpas. A fun one is definitely Randy "e Macho Man" Savage. I really regret that I didn't get to a point in my career where it became easy for me to meet him. He is definitely one of my favorite people in my childhood. VUE: I love it. Last one. Biggest pet peeve? GaryVee: Lack of accountability. And it doesn't bother me, because I'm living my life. It's less about people around me disappointing me because they lack accountability; I just want more happiness in the world, and there is a direct correlation to how accountable you are and how happy you are and people just don't want to see it.
