From its inception, e Preserve has centered around trying to keep families together while having something for everyone to do. Having built more than 25,000 homes, including developments around private golf communities by 2010, Founder and CEO Paul Mihailides saw a need for homes that would provide ample living space, coupled with luxurious amenities and exciting experiences to provide entertainment for the youngest to eldest family members, allowing everyone to congregate. It is from this desire–and Milhailides' prolific building experience–that e Preserve was born. "I tried to create the Club of clubs," Milhailides mused on a recent phone call. A quick glance at all the offerings at e Preserve confirms that Milhailides has achieved this goal. From fishing to golfing to horseback riding to fine dining, the amenities and experiences at e Preserve offer world-class service and "white glove treatment in a unique, upland setting." ere is no way anyone could ever say they are bored during their stay, with seasonal activities, kids-only experiences, and a plethora of options that range from outdoor adventures to centered relaxation. Kayaking, canoeing, ziplining, archery, tennis, hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and golfing on an 18-hole PGA executive golf course are everyday activities at e Preserve, alongside practicing your aim at the longest indoor shooting range in the country. For little ones, activities such as maple sugaring, pony rides, plant identification hikes, sledding, and visits to the petting zoo keep them busy all year long. e main priority, as Milhailides shared, is "that everyone leaves with a great experience." Another priority, he hopes, is for guests to "leave with a real skill." Whether it's tennis lessons with the Club's in-house professional tennis instructor, archery classes with a former Olympian, or outdoor survival skills taught by Navy SEALs, the high caliber of lessons and classes available make that aim entirely within reach for any guest of e Preserve.
