The journey began when Cassandra, at the height of her career, met Joseph, who was completing his MBA. After realizing her demand outpaced her capacity, Joseph suggested she start her own salon. After years of planning and overcoming hurdles— like the high cost of their first dream location—White Opal Hair Co. found its home in Oakhurst Township in 2019. Built on a modest budget, this salon is now a premier beauty destination in Monmouth County. In the last five years, White Opal has earned a nationwide reputation. Cassandra's commitment to hiring exceptional talent and empowering them to create authentic grassroots marketing has attracted over 110k followers on TikTok and 19k on Instagram. She continually elevates the client experience with unique offerings, including a café that serves locally roasted, high-quality coffee from Offshore Coffee Company.
