Member Acceptance VUE: How do you typically accept new members, and what is the process for joining? DEVON: Over the past four months, we have been fortunate to receive thousands of applications. However, we are dedicated to accepting only those members who genuinely align with our mission of promoting wellness and encompass our core values - community, family, health, giving back and freedom of time. As we expand to new locations, our members will have the unique opportunity to visit and enjoy each of our farms while maintaining these core values that we cherish at our flagship location in New Jersey. Mom's Influence VUE: I had the pleasure of meeting your mom, and she was so sweet and involved throughout the day. How has your mom inspired you in your life and work, and what role does she play at Sweet Honey Farm? DEVON: Growing up on farms in Idaho and New Hampshire, my mom taught me how to care for animals, helping others, maintaining a clean space, and finding the positives in every situation. She taught me all of this while gracefully raising me and my four sisters. Her unwavering dedication and nurturing spirit have shaped who I am today. At Sweet Honey Farm, she plays a vital role, providing a motherly touch that makes the environment feel like home for my guests and animals. She is there every day, taking care of the animals and ensuring that the operations run smoothly. With her background as a horse trainer and running farms she is the perfect person to be by my side.
