VUE ON | TRAVEL V U E O N • JENN TRAN Standing up for myself has been the biggest act of SELF-LOVE. So what's next? Jenn smiles coyly. " I have a lot of things in the works— can't share yet, but let's just say I'm looking forward to merging my medical background with some of my new passions. It's gonna be good." If the past year has shown her anything, it's that she doesn't have to wait for a seat at the table—she can build her own. " Standing up for myself has been the biggest act of self-love," she reflects. " I used to be so laid back—afraid of confrontation. Now, I know that being a trailblazer means owning your story, all of it." It's clear Jenn Tran isn't done evolving— she's just getting started. And whether she's in a lab coat, heels, or sneakers, the future looks bright—and completely on her terms. Still, despite her rising profile in Los Angeles—a city she now calls her second home—Jenn's roots run deep in the Garden State. " Jersey girls speak their mind," she grins. " I'm proud to be a bit yappy when I want to be." Her family keeps her grounded. Her Vietnamese upbringing—especially her mother's quiet strength—shaped her character in ways she's only recently come to fully appreciate. " We're raised to be humble, to value every single person," she says. "at's something I carry onto every set, every shoot, every project. From cra services to camera ops, I treat everyone with gratitude and respect. It's what my mom taught me." And while the internet may love her, social media hasn't always been kind. Jenn's honesty about online scrutiny is both refreshing and real. " I have good days and bad days. I'm human," she admits. "Sometimes I brush it off. Sometimes I clap back. But I try to tune it out—good or bad—and just keep my eyes on the prize." 62 VUENJ.COM
