Entrepreneur, visionary, and managing
director of Mr. Sancho Pancho Tequila,
Michael Vaynshteyn, is no stranger to
overcoming obstacles on the pathway
to success. As a young man and an
immigrant to the U.S., Vaynshteyn
faced a language barrier and numerous
personal hardships as he worked
towards the realization of his dreams.
Long before he became one of the
founding partners of Mr. Sancho
Pancho Tequila, Vaynshteyn spent 16
years as a professional ice hockey
player, where his time on and off the
ice helped him "hone discipline,
teamwork, and leadership." Aer
almost two decades dedicated to the
sport, Vaynshteyn decided to pursue
an MBA, leading to a range of
dynamic careers in business and
professional sports.
Vaynshteyn's initial foray into
entrepreneurship took shape as he
assumed the roles of CEO of Re Della
Produce, Inc. and managing director
of Genuine Gold, LLC. Under his
leadership, Re Della Produce was
"transformed into an industry leader,"
setting the stage for his work on Mr.
Sancho Pancho Tequila. While
breaking into a competitive industry
such as premium spirits can seem
daunting, Vaynshteyn "embraced
adversity as a source of growth and
