e Peninsula New York elevates Fih Avenue as it unveils the completion of a comprehensive interior design refurbishment, debuting a refresh of 219 guest rooms and suites, alongside public spaces, and select dining venues. Led by the award-winning New York City-based Bill Rooney Studio, the property-wide refurbishment, which commenced in January 2024, includes the hotel's Lobby, Reception, Palm Court, and the reimagined rooop lounge, Pen Top. A landmark building on renowned Fih Avenue since 1904, e Peninsula New York drew inspiration for its refurbishment from the elegance of Manhattan's Roaring 1920s era blended with a refined simplicity that is both fresh and elegant, complete with bespoke amenities and personalized services. "is refurbishment marks a new era for e Peninsula New York, solidifying our stance as the pinnacle of luxury in Manhattan," said Samir Ibrahim, Managing Director of e Peninsula New York. "Harmoniously blending contemporary design and distinguished elegance, we are committed to providing the exceptional service that defines e Peninsula brand - and we look forward to welcoming guests to this reimagined New York luxury experience." THE GRAND ENTRANCE AND PALM COURT Upon arrival, guests are welcomed into e Grand Entrance with a magnificent chandelier overlooking the dramatic double-height entry Lobby with a sweeping marble double-staircase. e intimate Reception space and Concierge Desk have been redesigned with bespoke interiors of fresher, lighter finishes, accented with rich wood paneling, creating a truly welcoming guest experience. e Palm Court, the hotel's central atrium, will feature a newly commissioned triptych by contemporary artist Ricardo Mazal, inspired by nature and representing human energy in the city, while accentuating the verticality of the voluminous space.
