needs to be rebuilt from the ground up to focus on proactive health," Andrew passionately explains, noting that we currently have "all reactive healthcare systems." With a move to proactive health, we could see a drastic reduction in the incidence of diseases, something that Andrew believes is "a responsibility of all of us as individuals." Along with measures such as daily movement and mindful eating, a "yearly Prenuvo scan is in the same category as a health club membership," Andrew notes. A shi to a proactive health system would also alleviate much of the fear we as humans experience over the idea of illness. "When I started the company, I ran into so many people that said they were too nervous to learn what was going on with their own health," states Andrew. "It's a condition the health care system does; it's conditioned us to not want to learn because we think it's going to be horrible, too." Sharing that he remembers feeling similarly prior to his first full-body scan, Andrew aims to "help people to recognize and understand this is a normal thing to feel, and it's an awesome feeling to overcome." As more Prenuvo patients are able to catch illnesses or degenerative changes early on, he hopes this will help change the narrative that medical discoveries are something to avoid. "I think about the psychology of fear a lot, and changing the definition of disease from something that is scary to proactive to give people agency over their own health." As Prenuvo seeks to expand their locations beyond larger metropolitan areas where scans are currently available, the potential of mobile clinics could aid in reaching even more individuals. Andrew shares that one possibility remains adding a mobile clinic to Long Island "at some point this year; it could be one way we can bring access to communities that don't live close to one of our clinics." For Andrew, expanding scan access is vitally important as "people are demanding that healthcare changes, and we're going to see these proactive options being more available in a short period of time." When it comes to the next few years, his hope for Prenuvo is that "these scans are available in all major cities, read by a combination of AI and radiologists, paid for by employers, and covered by insurance." Aer being directly involved in positively impacting the lives of so many others, Andrew looks forward to being able to bring Prenuvo to countless others, continuing to save lives and bring new awareness to the importance of proactive health for everyone.
