For Executive Chef Chris Siversen,
food has always been deeply
personal. Raised in a traditional
Italian household, the kitchen
served as the center of family life—
m ore g at h e r i n g s p a c e t h a n
workspace. But it was his father's
words that ultimately shaped his
path: if given the chance, he would
have owned a restaurant. at
sentiment stayed with Siversen,
leading him to culinary school and,
eventually, a career where discipline
and creativity coexist.
His journey to The Feathered
Fox began well before its Jersey
City debut. The concept was first
developed in 2019, with an initial
location opening in Livingston
in 2021. Over the years, Siversen
and his team refined both the
menu and the culture behind it.
When the restaurant arrived at
Liberty State Park in June 2025,
it marked a natural evolution—
an intentional, fully realized
dining experience shaped by
time and clarity.
