For the first time in 11 years, the PGA Championship is coming to New Jersey. The event itself will run
from July 25 to July 31 at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, the location of the 2005 PGA Championship.
One of four majors, the PGA Championship has been the flagship event for the game of golf since 1916.
Coordinated by the PGA of America, the 98th PGA Championship anticipates upwards of 200,000 attendees
when it's all said and done. Big names such as Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson, and Phil Mickelson
(the last professional to win at Baltusrol) are expected in the field. Last year's PGA Championship featured
an emotional finish, with Jason Day beating out Jordan Spieth with a record breaking 20 under par at
Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin.
