We are inundated with marketing for luxury apartments, luxury accessories, luxury travel and even luxury pet care. Are we being misdirected or is luxury something that is defined differently depending on who you ask? Being engulfed in the "luxury" market, my view has changed quite a bit. For me, spending a quiet morning on my balcony with a cup of espresso is one of my favorite luxury moments. Don't get me wrong, having the opportunity to travel to and feature the beautiful El Conquistador Hotel in Puerto Rico certainly raises the bar, but sometimes the simplest things in life can be best described as luxurious. I do believe the term has been misleading with so many brands looking to play in the luxury space, but in the end, it's only in the eye of the consumer to decide what true luxury means to them. This issue we had the opportunity to chat with one of my favorite actresses Jane Krakowski, as she shared her story with VUE Magazine. Jane is such an inspiration and hearing all about her experiences throughout her acting career certainly gave me a new respect for her non-stop lifestyle.
