This New Jersey home has a three-story barn add-on which is fitted with a state-of-the-art home theater system designed by
Kevin Crouse Audio Design. On the main floor, opposite of the barns actual doors is a 135-inch daylight screen with retractable
wooden doors that mimic the entryway. The 5.2 surround sound system, consisting of five speakers and two subwoofers, is
hidden behind the screen area. There are also two TVs mounted above each fridge in the bar area intended to mirror the larger
screen. Downstairs in the family room, the
space is soundproofed, meaning both the
walls and floor are wrapped in a soundproof
rubber and then covered in a soft fabric in
order to isolate and control the noise. The
entire barn is fully integrated, allowing all
of the audio and video to be controlled via
remote, smartphone or tablet. General audio
can be streamed wirelessly through the
speaker systems, while additional features
such as lighting, thermostat levels and video
monitoring can be accessed as well.
