For this family's shore home, Serious
Audio installed a private screening
room into this "fully-connected"
home for a tech-inspired getaway.
The entire home's media, lighting,
security and HVAC settings are
controlled by one interface which
is accessible through smartphone,
tablet, remote or home screen. The
family room is equipped with a
custom leather-wrapped TV, which
was built into the wall and framed
in a reclaimed wood finish with a
5.1 surround sound system. It also
has an Integra Audio/Video receiver
which can stream audio and video
from either the internet, TV or Blu-
Ray player. Downstairs, the private
screening room has a 130-inch
screen with 11.4 surround sound and
a 3-chip DLP Sim2 Grand Cinema
projector with an Alpha Path Light
Engine. The room was fitted with
stadium seating for eight and has
motorized recliners equipped with
temperature controls and seat
rumblers for a true cinema-style
experience.
