I
first found the driving center just a
stone's throw from the Equinox Resort
& Spa on Main St in Manchester.
I walked into the cozy storefront,
greeted by walls as evergreen as the
foliage peppering the surrounding
mountainscape. The leaves had only
just begun to change. After a few digital
forms I met my guide for the day, Certified
Land Rover Instructor, and New Jerseyan,
Christina Young.
After Young gave me a rundown of the
2017 Land Rover Range Rover, we covered
the vehicle's Hill Descent Control, Terrain
Response System and Command Shift
button which allows you to manually change
gears up and down with the flip of a switch.
Before long, I was in the driver's seat taking
on the 80-acre purpose-built course, which
is open to budding off-roaders during every
season (and all conditions).
Throughout the drive, I found myself
