e aptly named "Wave House" covers over 3,200 square feet, taking its shape from the translucent crests of the Pacific Ocean. Its angular structure is an ode to human engineering, a sleek machine standing over the ebb and flow of every tide. But the home's lustrous exterior is as much function as it is beauty; function in the way of providing its owner breathtaking perspectives of the endless horizon, that is. Its architect, London-born Mark Dziewulski, imagined it with windows which are predated only by beach views on three sides (hidden away by greenery on its forth). Inside, the home continues its relationship with the coastline through its main spaces which are fitted with walls of glass, ultimately providing a rather dramatic effect—no matter which room one visits. e interior is designed to be ideal for weekend entertaining, able to adapt to blissful celebrations and quiet evenings alike. White walls, stonework and wooden ceiling accents elicit visions of life at sea, one perhaps aboard the sunny decks of some newly-built Christensen. Similar to the barrel of every wave, its smooth, contemporary furnishings mirror that of its silhouette in a way which equates to the home's overall fluidity. For its part, Wave House does not Like all projects Mark Dziewulski endeavors, he personally lead the Wave House project—ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Based in California, and a member of the American Institute of Architects, he has completed projects throughout Asia, Europe and the US (and is licensed in the latter two). Dziewulski places priority on conserving energy, sustainable practices, the use of cutting- edge technology and above all, captivating design. With a variety of innovative projects already completed, his design is quickly becoming recognizable through his own audacious style. As the firm continues to grow, Dziewulski has set his sights on the East Coast U.S. for upcoming projects.
