e bond between the two, which Hunter describes as an
almost gravitational pull, only grew stronger over the next few
years, and it was readily apparent that the couple would spend
a lifetime together. Hunter did want some element of surprise
in his proposal, however, so he attempted to catch BreeLayne
off guard by asking her to come outside and help him move
some large boxes one weekend morning. As BreeLayne (who
is not a morning person) begrudgingly agreed to help, Hunter
managed to sneak a ring onto the collar of her dog, Zoey, and a
magical proposal ensued. "He got down on one knee, I started
bawling, and the rest is history," BreeLayne says. e newly
engaged couple immediately began planning an unforgettable
wedding.
e pair enlisted Sharon Sacks, founder of Sacks Productions,
to help plan their big day. Sacks drew inspiration from the
couple's love of nature and their shared spirituality as she
began to piece together the affair. To create an air of mystery
and intrigue, Hunter and BreeLayne's 160 wedding guests did
not know the location of the wedding until shuttles arrived to
transport them to the rolling hills of the St. Lucia Preserve.
