When NYC nurse, Elisa, and N.Y.P.D officer, Chris, became engaged, they both instinctively knew that their wedding would have to feel like an escape from the busyness of their everyday lives. e bride and groom decided to block out the entirety of the storied Ledges Hotel in the mountains of Hawley, Pennsylvania for an intimate, rustic wedding getaway, not too far from home. When it was time to start planning, the bride, Elisa, turned to a trusted wedding planning group on Facebook for advice on how to get started. She came across glowing recommendations for the design firm Larkspur Botanicals of Dumont, New Jersey and Midtown, Manhattan, helmed by floral designer and event stylist Lindsey Neff. Neff was thrilled to take on Elisa as a client, as Elisa had a strong sense of personal style but was also open to innovative ideas: "Elisa was a dream to work with...Elisa was the type of client I like, one that has a vision but is open to collaboration. Elisa was looking for a natural, whimsical, youthful and romantic style (one that we are known for) and didn't want the same old stiff and stuffy floral design offered by the older style flower shops in the area," Neff tells us.
