Projects regionally and across the United States range from distinctive residential to retail, hospitality, wellness, and other branded environments. A licensed architect in New Jersey and New York, Rachael has over 25 years of experience in architecture and interiors. Rachael and her team find joy in creating spaces that inspire, nurture, and that connect with clients on an experiential level. From design to ground-up, and furnishings to accessories, careful attention is paid to fine details, clean lines, and truthful expression of materials. Areas of expertise range from modern buildings to balancing the fine line of older homes and modern design. In addition to leading her firm, Rachael is an exhibited artist, furniture designer (Legend by RG) and founder of a hand-sewn home accessories line (felt.). Building community through service is near to Rachael's heart; she is active in social justice causes and organizations that support the arts and wellness such as Montclair Film, Jazz House Kids/Chica Power, Luna Stage, Bounce Festival, Off the Mat into the World, to name a few. She believes that art, architecture, and design build community and enhance our quality of life. Prior to founding RHG A+D, Rachael held senior positions at several prominent architecture and design firms, including Tihany Design and S. Russell Groves, where she focused on restaurants, high-end retail, spas, boutique offices and residential spaces around the world. Originally from Wisconsin, Rachael grew up in Colorado and has lived in London, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, and Chicago, where she began her lifelong career as a registered architect.
