However, at 1 Hotel Central Park, you can be like one with nature, without all the bugs and humidity. It may help that your room overlooks Central Park. Driving around in New York to find your hotel, especially after a long night of drinking, can be an exhausting journey, but the plants and greenery intertwined within the bricks of 1 Hotel Central Park make it easy to locate, as well as aesthetically pleasing. The amazement of the hotel, however, doesn't stop at the naturalistic design. Well known to dismantle your stress with its greenery and helpful staff, the hotel has also held a LEED certification for over four years. In 2017, 1 Hotel Central Park was recognized for having strong leadership in energy and environmental design, allowing its guests to sit down and relax and know their trip was helping to restructure our environment. While the hotel is a four-star luxurious stay, guests also pay for sustainability and environmental impact. Each room is provided with safe and reusable options to get rid of one-use plastic. Glass cups are not where sustainability stops. Unlike most hotels, each room is supplied with reusable shampoos, conditioners, and body washes in an unusually large container to ensure that we reduce our plastic waste. While sustainability is excellent, the room is even more impressive. Each room has wood-paneled ceilings and great views, making you feel like you are in the woods when in reality, you're in the city that never sleeps. But, of course, comfort is also crucial, and with slippers and cotton robes in every room, it's easy to continue to relax. Relaxation is just part of the package. For all those guests who can't disconnect from work, they've got you covered. There are numerous meeting rooms and workstations within the hotel. If you find you've overindulged on in-room dining or café experiences, 1 Hotel Central Park has a fully equipped gym with weights and numerous cardio machines, one being the peloton bike because who doesn't have one and love it. The last, but certainly not the least amenity, is Jams, the hotel's breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner spot. It may be illegal to miss out on their kale salad, avocado toast, and pancakes. The restaurant's food is excellent, but the design and coziness make guests feel overwhelmingly comforted in a similar vibe to the patrons of Central Perk from the hit television show Friends!
