Aer a physically demanding e-bike tour of the city, guests can return to the resort, freshen up, and prepare to dine at the most traditional restaurant at the resort, Butch's Island Chop House. Named aer original Sandals' founder, Gordon "Butch" Stewart, the restaurant's special is the cut of prime rib and a number of traditional steakhouse sides. e clam chowder is a stand-out appetizer, and the creme brulee for dessert is a must. Gatsu Gatsu offers fresh and light dinner bites and is another delicious way to end an active day. Located near the beach, guests can sample fresh sushi and seafood al fresco as they're caressed by the ocean breeze. e shrimp tempura rolls, dragon rolls, and miso soup are highlights of the menu, but there's no going wrong with a classic California roll and spicy salmon roll. e next morning, make sure to stop by Kanaal and start your day with a fresh latte and croissant. A highly recommended restaurant that serves fresh, Mediterranean-inspired dishes is Aolos. Located on the far east side of the resort behind the Awa Seaside Bungalows, the restaurant is most recognizable for its second-story straw rooop. Here, guests can enjoy eggs Benedict and a cup of coffee or freshly squeezed juice as they stare out at the horizon and deep blue ocean. For animal lovers, a number of locals, like vibrant small birds and lizards, wander in and out of the restaurant without being intrusive to the dining experience. Aer exploring more of the surrounding scenic areas, guests can return to the resort and prepare for a lovely night at Sandals' newest and most popular restaurant, Vincent. Inspired by the famed Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh, the restaurant's artistic touches come through in the vibrancy of the entrees prepared. A popular standout dish at Vincent is the duck confit which comes paired with a golden baked pear and roast vegetables. Another standout menu item is the white wine mussels and finally, a light dessert includes chocolate mousse perfectly nuzzled into a traditional French macaron topped with thin slices of chocolate.
