Specializing in unique, fully customized, and typically challenging projects, Principal Designer and Owner of Design MACS Marissa Sauer, Designer Lauren Collette and their team were the perfect match for the job due to their all- inclusive interior design work and drive towards creating something beautifully different. Dedicated to creating spaces that make their clients' dreams come true, and going the extra mile to do so, Marissa Sauer and the team of professionals that work closely with Design MACS do extensive research, outsourcing and creating custom designs to achieve those goals. Earthy elements accented with dark and moody undertones transport guests of this at-home spa to a rainforest-like retreat with natural stone and a custom water feature that fills the room with soothing, outdoor sounds. Natural stone was one of the main elements used while designing and constructing this spa located in the basement level of the home, and the stones are placed in a way that guides guests through each area of the spa. e floor is covered in thick, natural paving stones, and natural rocks varying in shape cover an accent wall of the basement, creating a cave-like environment.
