"When we started the brand, we said let's start with a hoodie," Mo and Noor agreed. With one sweatshirt and one t-shirt, they set out to create the "go-to hoodie" for everyone, regardless of their sport of choice. As Noor explained, "everything has intentionality, every aspect, logo, colors, etc. When we say movement brings people together, the hoodie is a product that you could be doing any sports, walking, yoga, ballerina, whatever be your mode of movement, your hoodie is before, aer, go- to, recovery, it is who you are beyond that one limited space. You can have technical gear for different sports, but your hoodie transcends that." By honing in on high quality and hosting "so many popups in our first two years where we were constantly listening to what our community wanted," Noor recalled, Athletifreak was able to grow into a brand that offers something for everyone's differing needs and desires in high- quality, high-performance, luxe athletic wear. At just four years old, Athletifreak has risen to rapid success, currently with 6 stores in the Garden State and over 400 products. According to Mo, there are no plans to slow down as he shared that "we intend to double our footprint in terms of retail and also expand out of NJ in 2025." In a self-described "very full circle moment," Mo and Noor revealed, "we also have a very special collab that's going to be introduced for next year, partnering with Iron Man as one of their official partners." e years of hard work and dedication have paid off for Mo and Noor, but they are quick to acknowledge the learning that took place along the way, as well as the need to stay grounded. As Noor explained,"one of our pillars is to always be grateful for the blessings we have and be able to give back and empower movement. How can we give back?" Athletifreak has answered that question through the D. Feet the Odds initiative, a powerful program where with each purchase, a pair of warm socks are donated to a child in need in India. is, too, served as a humbling opportunity as initially, Mo and Noor envisioned donating athletic socks to children to encourage and inspire movement.
