While most of us see and experience the dazzle of the actual day, Melanie and her team at Snapped Society are busy working behind the scenes for days leading up to–and hours following–all of the festivities. "It's a lot of event prep that people wouldn't see us and expect us to be doing," Melanie explains. "People see the finished experience, but they don't always realize how much goes into creating it. From designing custom graphics and digital assets to coordinating logistics and personalizing every detail, there's an incredible amount of work behind the scenes that helps make each event seamless." Melanie owns and operates Snapped Society with her husband/business partner, Nick, whom she quickly credits for their success. "is ship would not be sailing without him, 100%," she says. Between Melanie, Nick, and their additional team members, Snapped Society is booked and busy documenting some of the industry's hottest parties and events. Melanie's expertise, coupled with state-of-the-art technology, delivers a highly personalized experience that captures the most important moments of any event. From photo booths, video booths, live event printing, backdrop rentals, and more, Snapped Society is poised to commemorate your most celebrated memories. Most recently, Snapped Society added the Glambot™ to their offerings, capitalizing on the "trends focusing on video." Famous for its use on the E! Red Carpet, the robotic, slow-motion video rental adds "high luxury and fun" to everything from weddings, galas, charity events, and corporate activations. "What I love about the Glambot™," says Melanie, "is that I'm looking at people from head to toe when they come up to use it. What can they do with their hair? eir shirt, their dress?" Her own sense of style, artistic eye, and years of experience chronicle fabulous videos for her many happy clients. But that doesn't mean it has always been smooth sailing for Melanie and her team. "It was so easy to become discouraged early on," she explains. "When we first started, things were always hard and Nick would say, 'there's a solution to every problem. Let's figure it out.' It's stuck with me, that we can figure this out if we all work together." Beyond running her woman- owned business, Melanie is VUE ON | INFLUENTIAL WOMEN 48 VUENJ.COM
