New Jersey NARS artist Haley Haemmerle explained, "That woman in her 70's may not like a bold audacious lipstick like a bright fuschia or bold purple, but the 17 year old girl might. We can cater to each liking." This spring, neutral and matte colors are trending. The NARS 2016 spring line highlights items such as a Velvet Matte Skin Tint SPF 30, which combines skincare and a buildable coverage. Formulated with Transparent Blurring Powders, it helps refine the appearance of pores and controls shine with rose fruit extract and a nice matte finish. NARS carries its brand with coy play and an heir of edgy twist with provocative product names, like the cult classic "Orgasm" blush. Other flattering fan favorites include "Laguna" sun-kissed shade bronzer and "Chelsea Girls," once a lip lacquer until discontinued. But after an outcry by makeup fans, NARS brought back the hot item. NARS spring line also debuts a fresh and modern mix of spring shades and innovative textures for eyes, cheeks, and lips.
