During the whale stage, the boat is flipped right-side-up and brought inside where the crew builds the floor shapes, covering boards, comings, hardtops, seating, helm mid-decks, engine hatch, and swim platforms. While the interior crew builds what is the inside of the boat, the finish team sands, stains, finishes, and seals the hull of the vessel. The boat is then deconstructed and sent to the rigging department while the rest of the interior features of the boat are sent to the finish and upholstery teams. The rigging department is responsible for wiring, tech installation, and adding the motors and drives to the boat. Finally, all the pieces that were disassembled in the whale stage are then reassembled into the final product, including upholstery and finished flooring, before the water testing stage and delivery. Boats are constructed by hand by a team of veteran builders who have been hired from across the country. Regardless of the time they've worked in their industry, StanCraft makes sure to train every single builder in order to ensure that the quality and craftsmanship remain consistent for all of their customs and restorations. One of the most distinctive features of a StanCraft boat is its ability to glide on even the choppiest waters. The straight-line design seen on the bottoms of the boats has been carefully thought out over the past few decades and rigorously tested in order to achieve this quality that is hard to find on fiberglass boats. It all stems from the wood-hull construction. Most fiberglass boats span a six to eight foot difference between supporting frames or bulkheads, but StanCraft places them at every 20-24 inches. This difference in spacing makes the boat sturdier allowing StanCraft's to cruise through choppy waters and even crash through waves without feeling the reverberation felt in most fiberglass boats. While a StanCraft boat may look like it was transported from a past life with its obvious mid-century and turn of the century inspiration, the organs of every boat are comprised of the latest technology. StanCraft boats are easy to operate, with one-touch joystick controls and an independent stern drive so there's no need for bow-thrusters and the boat can move completely parallel and completely sideways off the dock. The joystick makes it so easy to drive that someone who's never driven a boat can confidently learn how to operate it in about one hour. It also comes with a top of the line V U E N J .C O M 140
