Getting to the Amalfi Coast is an adventure in itself with its steep, narrow roads that have magic hidden in every corner. Situated in a chiseled mountainside with immaculate blue water trickling into delicately placed beachside openings, traveling by water is truly the best way to see and appreciate the treasures of the Amalfi Coast. Taking a boat to explore each of the towns allows you to have a full view of the truly spectacular area and the secluded gems waiting to be discovered. Be sure to anchor for some time and take a dip in to experience the magic of the Mediterranean and some of the clearest water you will ever see. A trip to Capri and Positano are absolutely necessary when touring Amalfi by boat. Capri is home to the sensational Blue Grotto, a sea cavern that seemingly glows due to a sunlight reflection that illuminates the passageway. Visitors are able to take a small canoe-style boat through the cave to experience the phenomenon up close. Positano is a cliffside village famous for its colorful aesthetics, pebble beaches, and adorable, steep alleyways that are flooded with cafes and shops. Positano is home to incredible fashion and artisans, as well as shoemakers who will handcra you custom shoes right on the spot. Positano is not the only place to find crasmanship, handmade art, goods, and clothing. Sorrento is another beautiful town in the Amalfi Coast, filled with small shops and street vendors selling jewelry and one-of-a-kind clothing items, ceramic and wooden goods, pastries and, of course, limoncello. Leather goods and dainty skirts fill the streets, offering something for everyone. VUE ON | TRAVEL VUENJ.COM 81
